Book of the Month
Prayer and worship as part of the Body of Christ are indispensable companions on the road to a Christian life, but our journey must be illuminated and informed by our understanding of the faith that underpins it. The experience and wisdom of others more advanced on the road than ourselves is of immeasurable help in achieving that understanding and in enriching our spiritual lives. It is by our contact with the church community and by reading and learning how others have tackled the difficulties of the route that lies ahead that we ensure that our faith is realistic, our steps are well directed and that our eyes are fixed on our destination. Each month the details of a book on catholic theology or spirituality that I believe will provide insight, comfort, guidance and understanding will be posted on this page. It is my sincere prayer that you too will find it helpful.
