Patronal Festival

The Feast of St Mary Magdalen will be observed in the usual way on 19th July 2026, with a High Mass at 10.30am followed by lunch in the church and—most excitingly—in the churchyard! The Churchyard Project committee is very pleased to conclude the fundraising for the project, building work for which should be completed in a few months. Meanwhile, planting and caring for the wildlife is on-going, preserving this precious natural space in central Oxford.

Our preacher this year is The Revd Dr A. K. M. Adam, Tutor in New Testament and Greek at Oriel College. His speciality is in hermeneutics, and he has written especially extensively on postmodern biblical interpretation.

The suggested donation for the patronal lunch is £15 for adults and £10 for children over 5 years old. You may make your donation on the day, in cash or by card, and also using the payment form below. Regardless of how yo'u’d like to make a donation, please sign up so we have a sense of numbers for catering.
